How to prepare an effective summer body?

Summer is fast approaching and with it the desire to feel good in your body and look your best. To prepare yourself effectively, nothing better than training in a gym in Paris with numerous machines and coaches to support you in your quest for the perfect summer body! After that, you will no longer hesitate to show off in a swimsuit. But a certain rigor is required.

To fix objectives

Before embarking on any training program, it is important to define clear and, above all, achievable objectives. What do you really want? Losing weight ? Gain muscle? Sculpt your silhouette? Once your objectives have been defined, do not hesitate to contact a coach to create a program adapted to your needs and your body type. The latter will be able to guide you and show you how to use weights and machines in order to practice correctly without injuring yourself.

A healthy and balanced diet

Diet is a fundamental pillar for successful physical transformation. It is important to favor fresh, nutrient-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Limit the consumption of added sugars, saturated fats and processed foods as much as possible. No more fast food! We're (half) joking, you can of course treat yourself to a slice of pizza from time to time. But it’s better to opt for a supercharged smoothie!

Sleep and hydrate

It is important to drink plenty of water throughout the day, before, during and after exercise. Water is essential for the proper functioning of your body and to optimize your sporting performance. As is often the case, we talk about drinking at least 1.5 liters of water per day. But another ally lies dormant within you: sleep! Underestimated, regularly pushed aside, it is nevertheless the key to maintaining Olympian form and obtaining satisfactory performances in each session. Aim for between 7 and 8 hours of sleep per night.

Patience and perseverance

A physical transformation takes time and effort. By following a complete program calibrated according to your objectives, you will be able to see change faster than you think! Consider varying your sessions based on your upper and lower body. Don't neglect cardio either, which can be useful if you want to lose weight or simply warm up. Finally, surrounding yourself is sometimes the best way to make progress! Don’t hesitate to practice with several people to have a relaxed session.

State-of-the-art equipment

Guided or free weight machines, dumbbells, treadmills, rowers, elliptical bikes, virtual classrooms... After having tasted indoor sport, it's impossible to go back as the equipment is so satisfying! In the four corners of Paris, go to your favorite gym and don't hesitate to change according to your desires: Alésia, Bastille, Chevaleret, Diderot, La Défense, Nation, République, Théâtre... So, what are you waiting for ? The summer body doesn't wait!
