Wearing dental appliances at age 38

Today, April 05, 2024, following an appointment with a new dental surgeon, I learned that through my faults of not regular dental maintenance (brushing), he will have to proceed with the extraction of my teeth at least on the upper part, and this to subsequently place a removable appliance (by which I mean dentures).

However, I admit that I do not have very good teeth, apart from the fact that it comes as a shock to me to learn that if I accept the said intervention, subsequently I would therefore have to wear dental appliances..., but Mainly what scares me the most is that it might move or something like that...

On the other hand, as far as getting to the support is concerned, I know very well that There, it will be up to me and me alone to make an effort, but my greatest fear and above all the fact that as I have now become single again, I am afraid that no one will be able to be interested in me again. fact that I already wear dental braces at the age of 38, soon to be 39 in June...

In fact, for me what is most strange to me is to tell me that I will no longer have real teeth fitted a dental bridge, a bit like a person of a certain age, and this of course caused because I never really took care of myself...
